KEDDY- BOYD, Mary Elizabeth ~ Age 90, East Tremont, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Leominister, Mass, U.S.A., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Sarsfield) Spinney. Mary worked for the food services division at CFB Greenwood for 26 years. She enjoyed gardening and listening to the bagpipes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren at the cottage. Surviving are sons, Dwight Keddy, East Tremont; Rodney (Carol) Keddy, Sylvan Lake, AB; Larry (Laurie) Gillis, Waterville; sisters, Linda (Murray) Hird, New Albany; Laurine (Bob) Baker, Greenwood; brother, Arthur (Janet) Spinney, Truro; sister in law, Bea Spinney, Fundy Villa, Berwick; brother in law Roland Banks,  East Tremont; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Allan; brothers, Gordon (Thelma) Spinney, Eugene Spinney, Graham Spinney, in infancy, sister, Shirley Banks. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery.
