NOBLE, Mary Agnes - 78, of Middleton, passed away peacefully in Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 with family at her side. Born on August 14th, 1934 in Wilmot, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Jean Evora (Bowlby) Noble. Her childhood years were spent in Meadowvale with Aunt Evelyn Eisen, Uncle Theodore Noble & Aunt Mary Noble and cherished family times In Torbrook with Uncle Homer & Aunt Vera Noble. Mary is survived by a brother, George Robert Noble (Doreen) Noble, Wilmot, and a sister, Evelyn Evora Doyle, Winnipeg, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was predeceased by a sister, Vera Doris Pineo, and a brother, William Henry Noble. Mary completed her grade 12 at Middleton Regional High School prior to attending Normal College. She taught elementary school for 34 years in Meadowvale, Gaspereau, Yarmouth, Baker Lake, NWT, and Bedford before retiring and returning to her hometown of Middleton. Mary was a very special lady who gave selflessly to others and she fondly cherished pansies, rug hooking groups, dining at the Capitol, and her daily shopping trips to town. She was blessed with countless wonderful friends, including Anne Hartley (now deceased and formerly of Bedford), Richard Pineo, Sylvester Atkinson, and Peggy Daniels whom the family wishes to thank for their endless love and support they gave Mary through her retirement years. Our hearts are saddened by her loss, but her kindness and love will always remain in the hearts of all of those who met her. Reflecting on Mary's memory we shall always remember her fondly as she made this world a better place. Cremation has taken place, no service by request. Private family interment at a later date in North Kingston Cemetery. Donations in Mary's memory can be made to the Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum in Middleton or a charity of choice. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave behind when the day is done".
