SCHOFIELD, Mary Jean - age 77 of Berwick, Kings Co., formerly of Dempsey Corner, Kings County, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Windermere, she was a daughter of the late W. Boyd and Helen Marjorie May (Ramey) Moody. Mary was a member of the Aylesford Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a C.N.A. Graduate of the NSCC, Middleton. Mary had worked at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville and later at the Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick, until her retirement. Surviving are her sons, Gerry (Annette) Schofield, Kingston; Joe (Sharon) Schofield, Parksville, B.C.; Jim (Jan) Schofield, Nictaux; daughter, Cristal (Sullivan) Schofield (Doug Burgess), Little Harbour; grandchildren, Timothy (Jennifer), Anthony (Vanessa), Katelyn (Sean), Derek (Brianna), Matthew Sullivan (Lorna), Megan Sullivan, Jeffrey Sullivan, Trevor, Tyler, Dawn (Jeremy) and Jeremy (Jill); great-grandchildren, Mia, Keria, Lydia and Lucas; brother-in-law, Gerald Davidson, Berwick. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George A. Schofield; son, Gary Schofield; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Davidson.
