SMITH, Mary Sneddon - Age 80 of Bridgetown formerly of Wilmot passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Kirkintilloch, Scotland she was a daughter of the late David and Annie (Sandford) Reid. Mary is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Costa (Doug), Regina, SK; son, Andrew Smith (Marileigh), Clarence; grandchildren, Melissa Phillips, Logan Best, Kaitlyn Smith-Teal, great grandchildren, Brynn Phillips and Leah Phillips and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her devoted husband James Archibald "Archie" Smith, who faithfully visited his wife every day for almost twelve years, and her sisters, Susan, Elizabeth "Lizzie", Annie and her brother David. Cremation has taken place. At Mary's request, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of Mary's life will take place from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Archie's and Mary's former residence in Wilmot. Everyone is welcome to attend.
