SURETTE, Mary "Linda" – age 87, of Kingston, NS passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Odelle (Saulnier) LeBlanc. She was a homemaker and dedicated military wife to her husband of 62 years, the late Joseph "Lawrence" Surette, who passed away in 2011. Linda is survived by son Larry (Joan) Ottawa, ON; daughter Karen Cook (Kenneth) Kingston NS, grandson Ryan (Amanda) Cook and their children of Timberlea, NS; step-grandchildren Greg (Ingrid) and Will McPherson, and their children, all of Ottawa, ON; brother Edgar Le
Blanc of Yarmouth NS; sisters Anita Deveau, Yarmouth, NS, Shirley (Gil) Allen, Innisfail Alberta, and Phyllis LeBlanc of Dartmouth NS. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold, Victor, Lomer, and sisters Hilda LeBlanc and Francis MacIntosh. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448. At Mom's request, there will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place at a later date in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston.
