TUPPER, (Milbury) Mary Madeline ~ age 96 of Wilmot, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Saint John, NB on November 16, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (Sabean) Milbury. Mary was a long standing member of Wilmot United Baptist Church and the choir. She loved to cook, bake and enjoy her family; both biological and foster. Mary will be sadly missed by daughters Judy (Reggie) Lohnes; Brenda (Phillip) Whitmore and Karen (John) Thompson; son Brian (Cindy) Brooks; grandchildren, Jacqueline (Scot) Nauss; Kimberley (Eric) Weagle; Murray (Shawna) Neiley; Shannon (David) Frittenberg; Ethan Thompson; six great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara, Dorothy, Margaret, Grace, Ann and Bertha. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Murray Lamont Tupper; sisters, Elizabeth "Betty"; Myrtle; Evangeline and Flora; brothers, John, Warren and Robert. In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448 with Rev. Bill McLeod and Rev. Harry Gardiner officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Private family interment will be in Wiswall Cemetery, Wilmot. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre Recreation Fund or to a charity of choice.
