WALSH, Mary "Eileen" – age 83 of Greenwood Square, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Saint John, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Alphonse R. and Leona P. (Arsenault) Surette. Eileen was devoted to her family and friends. She was a breeder of German Shepherd dogs and enjoyed her horses, ceramics and various arts and crafts. Eileen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Lawrence J. Walsh Sr.; daughter, Nancy (Terry) Walsh, Innisfail, Alta.; sons, Larry Walsh Jr., Aylesford; Allan (Glenda) Pelrine, Margaretsville; Bill (Kerrie) Walsh, Victoria, B.C.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son, Wayne Surette; sister, Alice Ryan; brothers, Raymond and Reggie Surette. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Eileen's memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
