Obituary

WARNER, Mary Edna-88 of Melvern Square passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Margaretsville, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (Stoneman) Patterson. Mary was part of the office staff for 17 years at Soldiers Memorial Hospital and for many years she was a Rural Route Mail Courier for Canada Post. She was a member of the Melvern Square United Church, the United Church Women and she also taught Sunday school. Mary helped with many community activities especially Boy Scouting and was a Life Member of the Kingston Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by son, Millard (Sylvia) Warner, Stellarton; daughter in-law, Pat Warner, Melvern Square; grandchildren, Laura, Stellarton; Kevin and Yvette, Dartmouth and Kelly and Grant Morrison, Victoria Vale; great grandchildren, Ryan, Carmen, Hannah, Megan, Benjamin and Caleb and great-great grandchild, Hayden. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, son, Carleton and a great -great grandchild. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 4:00PM Monday, April 18, 2011 with Rev. Sharon Budd and Rev. Michael Mugford officiating. Interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. By request, family flowers only.
