Westerby, Mary Louise – 68, of Middleton passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and daughter on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Rexdale, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late James and Elsie (Atkinson) Scott. Mary loved her grandchildren. She was thankful for her dear friends at Sunset Meadows, especially Lorraine, Marg, and Peggy. Mary had a special connection with Harvey and truly loved his seagull self as well. Special thanks to the bus drivers with Kings Transit for always bringing Mary home safely. Surviving are daughter Shannon, Nictaux; son Gordon (Sarah), Bolton, Ontario; grandchildren Cameron, Mikayla, Nathan, Abby, and Margaret. Thank you to Dr. Gillis and the team at Valley Regional Hospital Emergency Dept for the compassionate care and dignity they provided for Mom. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Port George, Mary's favorite place, where her family will gather to send her on her journey to the Bahamas.
