Plehn, Mildred Louise ~ 86, of Middleton, formerly of Port Lorne, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Port Lorne, she was the daughter of the late Gilford and Madeleine (Sabean) Sabean. In her early years, Mildred loved going to dances. She enjoyed puzzles, walking, and country music. Mildred devoted her life to raising her family and loved them dearly.  Surviving are her daughter, Christine Plehn, Kingston; sons, Herman (Sandy) Plehn, East Arlington; Robert Plehn (Angie Caldwell), Hantsport; Albert Plehn, Cottage Cove; brothers, Leon (Anna) Sabean, Mount Rose; Lawrence (Jean) Sabean, East Arlington; Ernest Sabean, Mount Rose; grandchildren, Selina, Ruck, Booker, Suzanna, Amanda, Cassidy, Kendra; great grandchildren Jaxon, Laighla, Logan, Ivy, Sterling (on the way), and Paisley; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Hans, grandson Tylor Plehn, and sister-in-law Irene. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, and funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 all in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1.855.825.3448 with Rev.
