SABEAN, Mildred Louise (nee Alride) 97 years of age passed away peacefully in Melville Lodge, Halifax with her daughter by her side on March 7, 2012. Born April 17, 1914, in Weymouth Mills, NS, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ida (Sprague) Alride. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making quilts and spent her adult life in Port Lorne and Middleton, NS. She is survived by daughter, Evelyn (Douglas) Feltmate of Halifax; sons, Wilfred Sabean, Paradise, NS; Allan (Doris) Sabean, Edmonton, AB; half- brother Carman (Lydia) Alride, Mississauga, ON; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Perry Alex, Keith Edward, Wesley Frank and Curtis Maxwell; brothers, Donald, Reginald, sisters, Evelyn and Ruth and half- brother, Howard and by stepmother Sarah Cosman. A special thank-you to all of the staff of Melville Lodge for taking care of Mom during her stay there of three years and three months. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
