BLAIR (Greeno/Armstrong), Minnie Marie – age 74 of Wilmot passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Cheverie, Hants Co., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Lola (Kerr) Greeno. Minnie loved her Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church. She loved going to Tops (chapter 5288) Middleton and she became a Cops when she reached her goal weight. Minnie also loved her plastic canvas crafts and would sit for hours working on her reindeer and sleigh. She would take many rides on the transit bus and listen to all the gossip. Minnie is survived by her three sons, Lee (Gayle Ann), Nictaux, David, Toronto, Ont. and Lewis (Sheila), Waterville; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Greeno, Glenmont. Minnie had grandchildren, Frankie, Wylee, Scott, Kenny, Kendall, Kristeen, Wayne, Laurie, Taunya, Qing and Ashley. Three grandchildren predeceased her, Ruby, Sarah and Shyla. Minnie had several great grandbabies and one great-great-granddaughter, Breeze who called her "grammacup" with a wink. Great-grandchildren, Danté and Mandy would bring their great gramma a stuffy or a special blanket to keep her warm. She is also survived by her former husband, Herbert Blair, Wilmot. Minnie was also predeceased by first husband, Charles Armstrong; brother, Anson Greeno, a brother who died in infancy; and her beloved soulmate, Linda Blair who she spent 24 years with. In keeping with Minnie's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, January 11, at Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton with Rev. Dr. William MacDougall and Rev. Sweis Ubels officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Family flowers only, donations in Minnie's memory may be made to Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
