Obituary

BENJAMIN, Morley Dexter ~ Age 72, of Nictaux, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at home. Born in Berwick on September 25, 1946, he was a son of the late Norman E. and Frances L. (Schofield) Benjamin. One of Morley's favourite passions was riding his motorcycle. He loved to spend time walking on the beach. Morley was good at wood working and making things out of metal. He had done electrical work, liked working on cars and was known as a Jack of all trades. Morley enjoyed all types of music and had learned to play the accordion. Surviving are his companion, Elizabeth M. Coutts, Nictaux; brother, Hubert (Eleanor) Benjamin, Burlington; sisters, Madeline (Bruce) Russell, Bathurst, N.B.; Kathleen (the late Rufus) Rand, Gospel Woods Road; niece and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Victor (May) and Wilbert (Marion) Benjamin; sister, Pearl (Vance) O'Donnell. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday evening in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m., Thursday, July 25. Rev. Eugene Foster officiating. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to your favourite charity.
