ENGLAND, Muriel Olive ~ age 96 of North Kingston, NS passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Lowestoff, England she was a daughter of the late George and Jean Cooper-Cassidy. Muriel is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Muriel liked to garden and enjoyed writing poetry. She loved camping, painting artwork and absolutely adored animals. Muriel will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha England, North Kingston; sons Tom Cooper, Herring Cove and Gary England, Bridgetown; grandchildren Jennifer (Garry) Lees, Fredericton, NB and Angela (Chris) Cobb, Halifax; great grandchildren Felicya Harvey, Dartmouth; Hayden Lees, Fredericton, NB and Jamison Cobb, Halifax; lifelong best friend, Jennie George, Tremont. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Vincent England; step father Frederick Cassidy; brother Theodore "Ted" Cooper and sister Pearl Graves. In keeping with Muriel's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in the North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Canon Lynn Uzans officiating. A heartfelt thank you is extended to all the staff of Mountain Lea Lodge and to Dr. Grant Goodine for all their care and compassion shown to our Mom over the years. Donations in memory may be made to the North Kingston Cemetery or Mountain Lea Lodge Recreation Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
