Guier (O’Neil), Muriel Helena, formerly of Tiverton, passed away on August 30, 2026, with her three daughters by her side at Tideview Terrace, Digby.
Born in Mink Cove, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Winnifred (Hersey) O’Neil.
In her leisure time, Mom enjoyed playing Bingo, card games, doing Lexicon puzzles and listening to country and gospel music. Mom enjoyed watching birds at the feeders, cardinals being her favorite.
Mom was active in the community, enjoying square dancing, variety shows, especially humorous skits, and singing in the church choirs. She was a member of the Sunshine Rebekah Lodge where she held the position of Noble Grand for many years.
She was a stay-at-home mom, but in later years she was employed at MacIntyre’s Store, Freeport and Sea Side Lunch, Tiverton.
Surviving Muriel are her three daughters, Maxine Frost, Digby; Brenda Leeman, Tiverton; Julia (Danny) Gaudet, Westport; grandchildren, Denise (Sarah) Frost, Moncton; Janelle Leeman, Kentville; Christopher (Jessica) Frost, Digby; step grandchildren, Daniel Gaudet, Digby; Caitlyn (Jason) Weir, Lansdowne; great grandson, Kaiden Rogers, Kentville; step great granddaughters, Oceanna Gaudet, Digby; Khloe Weir, Lansdowne.
Our Mom was predeceased by husband, Lloyd; sister, Amelia; brothers, Llewellyn and Lawrence; son-in-law, Glenn Leeman.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Tiverton Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Long officiating. No visitation by request of family.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Moms’ memory to the IWK Foundation or Christmas Daddies.
