RAWDING Murray Leigh, Age 78, of Nictaux, Annapolis County passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at home surrounded by his wife, Marilyn, of 53 years; daughter, Sandra; and niece, Paula, at his side. Murray is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn Ford; daughters, Sandra (Stacey) Symonds, Wolfville, and Faye Bennett-Heck, Windham, Maine, granddaughter; Samantha Faye, and brother-in-laws; John and Howard (Anna) Ford. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Rae Luxton. Murray's first work adventure was with Lord and Burnham making greenhouses in Ontario. He then moved into the sales field with Howard Wholesale Grocery for seven years. In 1960, he started his employment with William Stairs Son & Morrow, Halifax. Seventeen years later, he continued in sales with Venture Wholesalers, Halifax. From there, he moved on to Thornes Limited, New Brunswick for fifteen years.
