Obituary

REDMOND, Murray Robert - 78 of Nictaux, Annapolis County passed away suddenly at home, Saturday, May 4, 2013. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Richard and Elsie (DeWolfe) Redmond. Murray served in the R.C.A.F. for 32 years, retiring as a Sergeant. He was a member of Branch #98 Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston as well as a member of Valley Wing #107, R.C.A.F.A., Greenwood. Murray is survived by his wife the former Bridget Riggs; son James Murray (Brenda), Bloomington, Annapolis County; sisters Barbara Glawson, Dartmouth and Shirley Gaffney, Dartmouth; brother Victor (Doreen) Redmond, North Enmore, P.E.I. By request, cremation has taken place. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Branch #98 Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston conducted by Branch Chaplain Wade Seymour and Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau, with a reception to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. By request, family flowers only.
