Myrna May
Attridge
April 30, 1966 – October 11, 2021
Attridge (Balsor), Myrna May – Age 55 of Greenwood passed away at home, Monday October 11, 2021 from ALS. Born in Kentville she was the daughter of Justin and Mabel Balsor of Cambridge. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Greenwood. She held many callings and cherished her fellow sisters. She enjoyed Friendly Fridays at church, Temple trips and serving as a member missionary. She made friends easily and was loved by so many. She had a big heart and a smile that lit up the room. She spent a lot of time with her two best friends Pamela Muise of Greenwood and Michelle Tupper of Bridgewater. She amazed the VON nurses that looked after her with her smile and positive attitude. She loved spending hours face timing her sister Heather Brown of Alberta with the two of them doing their nails. Myrna also liked moving furniture around the house. Once she moved the bed while her husband was working night shift and he not wanting to wake her, got ready for bed in the dark and got a rude awakening when he went to get in bed and hit the floor because the bed had been moved! She also liked changing hair styles and colours often, so much so her husband couldn't find her in the store because he didn't remember which hair colour or style, she had that day. She had many jobs during her life and loved working at Endodontics in Kentville as a receptionist for Dr. Graham Nickerson and working with Elaine Tomko both of Kentville. She is survived by her husband, Gordon and daughter, Ali of Greenwood; her parents, Justin and Mabel Balsor of Cambridge; sister, Heather (David) Brown of Alberta; brother, Robert Balsor of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. There is no visitation by request and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, NS toll free 1-855-825-3448. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS society of NS or the VON.
