Myrna Elida
Cyran
July 6, 1924 – December 15, 2015
CYRAN, Myrna Elida - age 91 of Wilmot, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Port Lorne, NS Myrna was a daughter of the late Alfred Eber and Lucy May (Marshall) Charlton. Myrna loved her family dearly and devoted herself to them. She also enjoyed travelling, reading and taking walks. She was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church for many years and dearly loved her Lord. This is just a personal note from our hearts. Mom was a tiny person with a great big heart, and the bravest person that I have ever met. She was a fighter and has fought many a battle in her life, but her battles are over. Mom slipped away from us into the arms of Jesus, and we will miss her terribly, but are excited that she's with her Lord, and at peace. What a wonderful Christmas gift for her, to go home and finally meet her saviour. We miss you mom, and one day we will be together again. Myrna is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Michael; daughters Dayle (Lee) Slauenwhite, Kingston, NS, Valerie (Barry) Lowe, Nictaux and Debbie (Mike) Parks, Wilmot; brother Lorne (Ethel) Charlton, Alberta; four grandchildren, Mike, Meghan, Danika and Andrew; eight great grandchildren, Chloe, Sadie, Eli, Emily, Renee, Piper, Cooper and step-granddaughter, Ellie and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Reta Spears, brother-in-law Robert; her brother, Laurie, sister-in-law Betty and two grandchildren in infancy, Shannon Dawn and Christopher Lane. In keeping with Myrna's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in Fundy View Cemetery, Port Lorne at a later date. Donations in Myrna's memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The family wishes to give special thanks to daughter Debbie and her husband Mike for all their help, day and night. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St.,(902) 825-3448. Online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
