Obituary

PARKER, Myrna Edith - aged 86 of South Williamston, NS died peacefully Saturday, June 20 2015 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in North Range, Digby County, she was a daughter of the late Frank Adelbert and Ada Gertrude (Haight) Haight. Myrna was a strong member of her community and a member of the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening and playing music and was a member of the Bridgetown Fiddlers. Myrna and George recently celebrated their 65 years of marriage. Myrna is survived by her beloved husband George Parker, Middleton; daughter, Garnetta (the late Michael) Naugler, South Williamston; sons, Philip Parker (Darlene Nejrup) Middleton and Graham (Monique) Parker, South Williamston; grandchildren, Chris, Joshua, Melissa, Mitchell and great grandchildren, Jarid, Evan and sister, Lois Nesbitt. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sister, Evelyn; brothers, Elwood, Vernon and Scott and son-in-law, Michael Naugler. Visitation will be held 7:00PM to 9:00PM, Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 with Rev. Patty Beals and Rev. John Beers officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery. By request, family flowers only please.
