TOWNSEND, Myrna Louise - age 79 of Middleton, NS passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2014 surrounded by her family. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Anita (Rhodenizer) Crowe. Myrna was a long time employee with Pizza Factory, Middleton and a former employee of the Men's Shoppe, Middleton. She devoted her life to raising her family and especially loved her grandchildren. Myrna is survived by her daughters, Nicola (Barry) Munro, Bedford; Terri-Ann Townsend, Port George; Myrnalyn (Rob) Parker, Greenwood; sons, Danny (Cherie) Townsend, Port George; Brent (Chrystal) Townsend, Brickton; Philip (Karen) Townsend, Middleton; sister, Marilyn (Ron) Eddy, Halifax; grandchildren, Lindsey, Paige, Jordan, Alicia, Paul, Shawn, Emilie, Maddisyn, Chris, Michael and Carri; great grandchildren, Kyle, Elex, Abby and Ethan and niece, Marilyn Ann McAdam, Halifax and nephew, Brian (Sherri) Eddy, London, ON. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Lloyd. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Julia Howard officiating assisted by Rev. Leon Langille. Private family interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Donations in Myrna's memory may be made to a Charity of Choice.
