PARKER, Myrnalyn Tracey - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrnalyn Tracey Parker, age 52 of Greenwood, Kings Co., N.S., on Monday, March 12, 2018, in the QEII, Halifax Infirmary. She was surrounded by loved ones. Born in Sioux Lookout, ON, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd William and Myrna Louise (Crowe) Townsend. Myrnalyn enjoyed spending time at the cottage and having family and friends close by. She was very involved with her daughter, Maddisyn in many after school activities. She loved animals and enjoyed travelling, but most of all Myrnalyn loved her family and loved life! She will be sadly missed by her husband, Rob; daughter, Maddisyn; sisters, Nicola (Barry) Munro, Bedford; Terri-Ann Townsend, Greenwood; brothers, Danny (Cherie) Townsend, Port George; Brent (Chrystal) Townsend, Brickton; Philip (Karen) Townsend, Middleton; and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Myrnalyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Middleton Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the Family Life Centre. By request, family flowers only please. Donations in Myrnalyn's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
