SAULNIER, Myrtle-64 of Middleton, passed away in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Born in Middleton on March 25, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Saulnier. Myrtle was the foster daughter of the late Clyde and Muriel Wilson of Clarence. As a young adult she lived in various foster homes. She is survived by brothers, David Saulnier, Meadowvale; Jerry Saulnier, Dayspring; sisters, Eva Saulnier, Middleton and Jenny Wade of Wilmot. She is survived by foster sisters, Barbara Baxter, Lawrencetown and Emma Brown, Brockville, ON. Myrtle had a unique sense of humour and her many friends have their own memories of her to the point observations of people and events. She did a super job of chair caning and did other crafts also. Her greatest joy was the Annapolis Valley Ex in Lawrencetown which she attended every year-every day-all day. She was able to live quite independently and in later years she had friendly, caring support from Sadie Tarrant and the girls in the Community Support Services program. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the Middleton Baptist Church, Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Myrtle was a member of this church and attended faithfully. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.
