DION, Nancy Gladys~ age 71, of Nictaux, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 17, 2018 at home. Born in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Russell and Clara Matilda (Boutilier) Keddy. Nancy was a very giving person and loved helping people whenever she could. She spent many years running a B&B in Lunenburg, a place very dear to her.  She loved her family tremendously and was very proud of her grandchildren. She loved animals and enjoyed gardening. Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband of 43 years, Peter; son Jeff Dion , Middleton; brother Russell (Roseann)  Keddy, Weltons Corner; grandchildren Nick Dion, Middleton; Nadia Dion, Lower Sackville and Emily Dion, Middleton; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 25, 2018 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448 with Rev. Karen Ralph officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS).
