HERRINGTON, Nancy Joanne - 56yrs of Clarence, NS passed away peacefully Monday October 7, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Wolfville, she was the daughter of Magdalena "Babe" (Hoogerwerf) Rayfuse and the late Earle Rayfuse. Nancy liked helping others and dedicated her life to helping people less fortunate than she was. She was a very humble, genuine, loving and caring person. Nancy loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, "Babe" Rayfuse, Bridgetown; husband of 36 years, Ian Herrington, Clarence; daughter, Kristen Herrington, Halifax; son, Tim (Janet) Herrington, Moncton, NB; mother-in-law, Sylvia Herrington, Bridgetown; grandchildren, Sophia and Ian; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Earle Rayfuse and father-in-law, Leslie Herrington. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00PM to 9:00PM Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. The memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Clarence Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Port George.
