PYE, Nancy Ann-46 of Kingston, NS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on September 27, 1965 in Halifax, she was a daughter of John and Geraldine (Gardiner) Cameron. She attended Prince Andrew High School, Saint Mary's University, and Halifax Business Academy. After graduation, she worked for CIBC, Pay Equity Commission, and most recently for AVRSB at the Lawrencetown Education Centre. She was the glue that held the family framework together. She was the co-ordinator for two family reunions in PEI and organized many other get-togethers. Nancy is survived by her parents, John and Geraldine Cameron, Dartmouth; husband, Simon Pye, daughter, Emily Pye and son, Cameron Pye all of Kingston; sister, Sandra (Chris) Watt, Stewiacke; brothers, Bradley Cameron, Montreal and Lonny (Barb) Cameron, Kemptville, Ontario. She was predeceased by her brother, Glenn (Brenda) Cameron. A memorial vigil will be held at 7:00PM, Monday, January 16, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 with Father Tim Nelligan officiating. Her ashes will be buried later this year in Prince Edward Island. The family is grateful for the assistance and support of the Annapolis Valley Palliative Care Unit, the Oncology Department at Valley Regional hospital, and all her other care givers.
