Obituary

TUPPER, Neil Carman ~ Age 89, of Morristown, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on February 10, 1933, in Morristown, he was a son of the late Durwood B. and Helen G. (Haines) Tupper. Neil was a very skilled business man. He loved to work, teach and employ people.  Neil was known for hogs, beef, crops, apples, Christmas trees and firewood. He was a carpenter, cut and milled logs and in the later part of his life he created Fox Mountain Camping Park. Neil loved socializing and people in general. He was always up for a good joke and making someone laugh. Neil was a member of many organizations, Hog Producers of Nova Scotia, Christmas Tree Farmers Association,  Cat and Coonhound Club, Aylesford Fire Commission to name a few. He was an avid hunter and loved his display of taxidermy animal heads. Wild meat was his favourite. Neil loved the woods and anything that had to do with it.  He had a real zest for life and there was never a dull moment. Neil couldn't stand to not have a new project on the go or be headed somewhere. His biggest accomplishment in his life was his 10 children, his family. Neil never missed an opportunity to hug them and tell them how proud he was of them. He will be missed so much by them. Neil was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are daughters, Cheryl (Rev. Randy) Hiltz, Morristown; Sonja (Ron) Stewart, Stratford, PEI; Tamara (Sam Field) Tupper, Billiejo (Ben) Keddy, Crystal (Wade) Allen, Heidi (Josh Schofield) Tupper, Virginia Fynes, all of Morristown; sons, David (Marlene) Tupper, Lake Paul; Troy (Michelle) Tupper and Neil Shannon (Lyndsay) Tupper, both of Morristown; 29 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
