Hubley, Nellie Marie ~ age 77, of Kingston, NS, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Born in Middleton, NS, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Innis (Weagle) Hubley.

Nellie had a deep love for horses and was a devoted Boston Bruins fan. She enjoyed going for walks, listening to 70s music, sharing a good cup of tea, and nibbling on her favourite Arrowroot cookies. An animal lover at heart, Nellie especially cherished her cats and dogs. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her niece, Debby (Rick) Dexter, Clarence West; nephew, Joe (Anne-Marie) Weaver, Cambridge N.S; great-niece, Emily Covert, Clarence West; along with her extended family.

Besides her parents, Nellie was predeceased by her sisters, Jean and Betty; brothers, Robert and Ronnie; a son in infancy; great-nephew, Blake "B.J." Walker; and her foster parents, Kenneth and Hilda Chute.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in Nellie's memory may be made to any animal rescue or foodbank, or to the charity of ones' choice.
