Obituary

MARSHALL, Nellie Marie -86 of Kingston Village, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Facility, Middleton. Born August 1, 1925 in Torbrook she was a daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Barteaux) Balser. Nellie was the last surviving member of her family. She was a longtime resident of Kingston Village, member of the Tremont United Baptist Church, Tremont WMS and the Tremont Flower Club. Nellie enjoyed travelling the Maritimes and the U.S.A. attending many horse pulls with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nellie is survived by daughters, Wendy Noble, Elaine Marshall and Mary Lou (Richard) Parker; granddaughters, Melanie (Mark) Collins; Angie Garnett ( Billy Joe LeClair); Ashley (Nick) Wilkie and Courtney Garnett; two step grandsons, Duane (Shelly) Parker and Jamie (Nadine) Parker and great grandsons, Coen Collins; Cole Wilkie, Dylan and Ethan Parker and several nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Milford Marshall, sisters, Laura Balser and Elsie Curry; brothers, Raymond and Earle. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, September 18, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825 - 3448, Rev. David Phillips officiating. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes, Wilmot Baptist Church or North Kingston Cemetery.
