Obituary

SALTZMAN, Nellie Pauline -age 90 of Middleton, formerly of Melvern Square, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Born in Camperdown, NS, she was the daughter of Frederick and Lillas (Baker) Zwicker. Nellie was the last member of her family. A beloved wife, mother, grand, great and great-great grandmother, Nellie devoted her entire life to her family. Her greatest joy was visiting with grandchildren, playing cards, telling stories of years gone by and making them laugh. Her sense of humour brightened anyone's day. Nellie enjoyed knitting socks, mittens and dish cloths for loved ones and was a great homemaker. Every special occasion she ensured there was a gift for all. Mom was loved by many and will be deeply missed by everyone. She is survived by daughters Gloria McKenzie of Wilmot, Glenna Dolliver of Ladysmith, BC, Deborah (Lawrence) Ramey of Nictaux, Sherry (Robert) Gaudet of Victoria Vale and Teresa (Donald) Taylor of Paradise; sons Brian (Karen), Ardie (Elenor), Jeff (Faye) of Melvern Square, Wade (Cindy) of Forest Glade; daughter-in-law Beverly Saltzman of Wilmot; a combined total of 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Wallace, son Jackie, grandson Jackzin Saltzman-Freeman and son-in-law Ernie Dolliver. A special thanks to daughter Sherry from her siblings, for all the love and dedication to our mother, especially during the last year.
