ELLIOTT, Noreen Fern - In a season that focuses and treasures the gift of family, we, as the family, are deeply saddened to announce that Noreen Fern Elliott, of Middleton, passed away suddenly at home on December 17, 2016 at age 75. Born in Bear River, she was the daughter of George Cosman and Edna Thibault. Predeceased by her parents, sister Loretta Sanford and husband, Gerald Elliott. Survived by her sisters Phyllis Elliott of Middleton, Joy Holden of Swift Current; son, Rick (Heather) Greene of Middleton; daughter, Shelley MacGregor of Halifax; special companion Judge Kenneth Crowell of Middleton; grandchildren, Richard B. (Katie) Greene of Middleton; Gillian (Terrance) Lobe of Cold Lake; Alexandra (Mike Lo) MacGregor of Halifax; step grandchildren, Craig (Loretta) Burns of Nictaux; Shannon (Aaron) Anderson of Truro; Miranda (Colin) Toole of Halifax; Tyler (Nicole) Burns of Halifax; four great grandchildren Hailey, Spencer, Carter and Cameron of Cold Lake. Retired business owner of Young Fashion World and a lifetime dedicated member of the Middleton Baptist Church; Noreen got her enjoyment from attending community events, her furry friends over the years, talking on the phone with her sisters, daughter and grand-daughters, cooking and beating people at cribbage. Nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her family and in her garden. Visitation will be held 7:00 – 9:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 22nd in the Middleton Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. By request, family flowers only.
