HUGHES, Noreen Alberta - 79, of Bridgetown formerly of Kingston passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in QEII Health Centre, Infirmary Site. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Perley and Effie (Freeman) Acker. She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Guy) Champigny, Alberta and Donna (Ryan) Baker, Lower Sackville; brothers Elthan Acker, Kingston and Aubrey Acker, Texas; grandchildren, Shauna, Rhonda, Lindsay, Luc, Jean-Guy and great grandson Austin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Doris and Ethel and brother Ronald. By request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, March 26, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
