UHLMAN, Olive Janett 87 of Bridgetown and formerly of Greenwood passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 3, 2011in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Torbrook, she was a daughter of the late Olman and Alice (Judge) Johnson. Olive was a member of the Wilmot Baptist Church and at one time taught Sunday School at the Tremont Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her sons as being a loving wife and mother who dedicated her time to raising her family. Surviving are sons; David (Norma), Kingston, Jamaica, Murray (Carole), Halifax, Garry (Rita), Kingston, NS, Malcolm (Judy), Greenwood and Stephen (Kim), Grand Bay Westfield, NB. Sisters; Ada Wentzell, Nictaux and Olga Conrad, Bridgewater; one brother Phillip (Laura), Bridgetown. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman; sons Norman Philip and James Addison; brothers Allison, Addison Wessy, Harry in infancy and a sister Orme Woodbury. By request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, Rev. Fred Bigelow officiating, followed by a reception.
