It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia Anne Smith (née Rudolph) mourn her passing on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 66. Patricia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Middleton, NS.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Patrick, Victoria Vale, NS; daughter Christal (Cory), Tusket, NS; son Michael (Maria), Kentville, NS; grandchildren Ethan and Nicholas; brothers Ned (Judy), Lyndon (Linda), sisters Pauline (Milton), Betty (Bill) and Mary (Glen). She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents Francis and Lila Rudolph, and brothers Leo, Don, Harold and Gerald.

Patricia, better known to friends and family as Patti, devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She endured many hardships with her health over the years which she faced with determination and grace. She was a gentle, loving soul who touched the hearts of those who knew her.

A private family funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Church, Sherbrooke this week, and a celebration of her life is planned for later this year.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
