WALKER (Larsen) Patti Lynne
– age 49, of Brights Grove, Ont., formerly of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at Bluewater Health Hospital, Sarnia, Ont., on March 7, 2017. Born in Berwick, Kings Co., on June 3, 1967, she was a daughter of Mel Larsen, and the late Althea (Timmins) Larsen. Patti was a proud and dedicated mother, who was adored by family and friends. With a smile that lit up every room she entered, Patti's positive spirit was contagious. Growing up in the Maritimes, Patti was an avid swimmer who loved spending time on the water and had been a member of the Dartmouth Crusaders Swim Club. Patti found the good in everyone. She viewed life as an adventure and she took advantage of every opportunity to travel and spend time with the people she loved. Every day was a celebration with Patti. Besides her father, Mel Larsen, Halifax, she is survived by her son, Eric Larsen Walker, and daughter, Brooke Madison Walker, both of Brights Grove, Ont.; her aunt, Lynette Dillon of Cape Breton; and the father of her children, Stuart Walker, of London, Ont. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her sister, Karen Larsen; and her uncle, Earl Dillon. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life was held in March in Smith Funeral Home, Sarnia. All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service for Patti that will take place at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15, in Waterville Baptist Church, 1243 Mill St., Waterville. Rev. Dr. David Watt and Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating, with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in the Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Waterville Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
