BOUTET, Paul Emile ~ Age 87, of Middleton, Annapolis Co., N.S., passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on January 12, 1933, in Lévis, Quebec, he was a son of the late Louis Philippe and Germaine (Langevin) Boutet. Paul served for 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, with postings are various locations including Marville, France. He later worked as electrical supervisor at 14 Wing Greenwood. Paul and Phyllis spent 33 consecutive winters at their second home in Florida. He was an avid hockey player, having played with the Greenwood Bombers and also played while overseas. Paul will be sadly missed by his friends and family in Quebec. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Phyllis E. Ward; son-in-law, Dale Hartling, Nicholsville; grandchildren, Tracy and Jeffrey; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, Thomas (the late Marcelle); sisters, Ghyslaine (the late Rodrigue), Lucette, Louise (Réal), all of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Paul Douglas Boutet; daughter, Cheryl Anne Hartling; sisters, Jeannine (Marcel) and Madeleine. There will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place. Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Mid Valley Palliative Care or Carey Me Fund ~ Supporting Palliative Care in the Home. Né le 12 janvier 1933 à Lévis, Québec, il était fils de feu Louis Philippe et Germaine (Langevin) Boutet. Paul a servi pendant 20 ans dans les Forces armées canadiennes, avec des affectations à divers endroits, y compris Marville, en France. Il a ensuite travaillé comme superviseur électrique à la 14 Wing Greenwood. Paul et Phyllis ont passé 33 hivers consécutifs dans leur deuxième maison en Floride.
