ROBAR, Paul Ellis 68, of Nictaux, NS passed away peacefully Monday, June 6, 2011 at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Ellis Joseph and Nellie May (Taylor) Robar. Paul was previously employed with AW Allens, Middleton and prior to was employed with Martyns Mill, Nictaux. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and liked to listen to western music. Paul was an avid bingo player and loved going to various exhibitions. He is survived by his sisters, Florence (Kenneth) Carter, Gander, NL; Isabell Durling, Wilmot; Brenda Robar, St. Thomas, ON; Debbie (Leonard) Pelton, Meadowvale; Dianna (Reginald) Taylor, Port George; brother, Richard (Grace) Robar, Nictaux and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Hilda Rodrigue; brother, Wayne and brothers-in-law, Frank Durling and Joe Rodrigue. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00PM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the Nictaux Cemetery with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
