Obituary

MORSE, Pauline Isabell of Wilmot, N.S. passed away in the Valley Regional Hospital at the age of 95 on Sept 16, 2014.Born in Tremont on June 27th 1919 she was no stranger to hard work. After the passing of her first husband Harvey she spent the majority of her life working on the farm with Wallace. She spent her retirement gardening, knitting and enjoying a quiet life until Wallace's passing in 1991.She spent the next few years with her daughter Ella and her husband Bill enjoying long walks and drives around the countryside until Ella's passing in 2006.She spent the last 8 years of life living with her granddaughter Cynthia and great grandchildren Nick & Katie Hyrtle enjoying The Price is Right, knitting and playing with the family pets. She was the daughter of Austin & Charlotte Meisner. She is survived by granddaughters Cynthia Hyrtle (Wilmot), Sandra, June, Myrtle and Donna (Halifax) grandsons Robert Hyrtle (Alberta), Gerald Hyrtle (Alberta), Barry, Jimmy, Perley, Wilbur and Carleton (Halifax).She is survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews She is predeceased by all three of her children Ella Hyrtle (Kentville), Dorothy Clarkson (B.C.) and a son in infancy. She is predeceased by her first husband Harvey Morse and her second husband Wallace Chase. She is also predeceased by her three brothers Edmund, William and Edward Meisner and sister Lillian and a sister Louise in infancy. She was the last surviving member her of immediate family. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, September 19, 2014 in the Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. Donations in Pauline's memory may be made to the charity of choice.
