In Memory of Pauline Margaret White July 13, 1936 – June 28, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Margaret White - Age 87 a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She passed away peacefully Friday, June 28, 2024 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Pauline's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the memories of her remarkable life will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Born in South Farmington, Pauline was the daughter of the late Colin Wagner and Elsie Wagner (Barkhouse). As the owner and operator of Edgemere Cabins in Fletcher's Lake and Julia's Store in Aylesford, Pauline was renowned for her hard work and her excellent customer service. Later in life, Pauline worked at Tibbett's home for Special Care where she cared for the clients on the night shift. Pauline's work ethic was surpassed only by her kindness, respect, and faith, which she extended to everyone she encountered.
Beyond her business achievements, Pauline's greatest joy in life was her family. Pauline will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Cindy (Darrell) Patriquin, Susan McNeil, and Sandra (Mike) Mattice and well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline is also survived by her sister, Audrey (Peter) Brown, brothers, Sidney (Barb) Wagner and Donald (Brenda) Wagner, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded by sister, Irene and Larry Finlayson and brother, Stanley (Kathy) Wagner.
Pauline found solace and contentment in the company of her loved ones, and she loved having company at her house; be it for a cup of tea, a meal, a game of cards or scrabble or even for an overnight visit. Whether she was quilting, knitting, painting or baking, Pauline was always doing for others. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her church family, her dogs, going for drives, having picnics and sharing stories of her past.
Pauline's Celebration of Life will be held at the Nictaux Baptist Church on Thursday, July 4th, at 2 pm. Rev. Jeff Milne officiating. A private interment will take place in Nictaux Cemetery immediately following. There will be a reception following at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Toll Free: 1-855-825-3448. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nictaux Baptist Church in memory of Pauline.
As we bid farewell to Pauline, let us hold onto the memories of her warmth, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely. Though she may be gone from our sight, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Pauline. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten. With love and fond remembrance. The online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
