Obituary

COOPER, Pearl Rosamond ~ Age 96 of Wolfville/Wilmot, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Wallace) Wiles. Pearl was an employee of Soldiers Memorial Hospital for 21 years. For a number of years she played music in the local area and once had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Hank Snow. After retiring she became very artistic and enjoyed doing paintings. Pearl is survived by and will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carolyn Cooper, New Minas, Sheri (Phil) Trimm, Greenwood; son, Edward "Alan" (Sandi) Cooper, Joggins, sister, Shirley Keddy, Wilmot; grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher, Jesse, Tammi, Kerry, Morgan and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, sister, Doris Sherman and brother, Donald "Donnie". There will be a family graveside service 3:00 PM, Friday April 5, 2019 in North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Uzans officiating. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the care and kindness shown to Pearl during her stay at the Wolfville Nursing Home.
