It is with great sadness that we, the family, of Perry Reid Joudrey, age 86, of Kingston, announce his passing on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Blockhouse, he was the son of the late Harold and Reta Joudrey. Perry was employed with TRA for 25 years. He was also employed with HJ Heinz Company for several years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston since 1973. He enjoyed playing golf in the summer and curling in the winter. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his common law wife of 37 years, Pearl Bezanson, stepsons David and Tommy. Surviving are stepdaughter Lyn (David) Taylor, Fort McMurray, AB; sisters Phyllis Korb, Washington, USA; Paulette (Wayne) Nauss, Halifax; brother Mervyn (Ethel) Joudrey, Blockhouse; grandchildren Natasha (Adam) MacEwen, Krista (Justin) Cantwell, and Franklin (Cailyn) Gould, all of Fort McMurray, AB; great grandchildren Kolbi, Emily, Grace, Keelyn, Avery, Maddie all of Fort McMurray, AB; great great grandson Theo, Fort McMurray; nieces, Lynn Slack, Jennifer Bond; nephews, Tony Joudrey, Michael Nauss; great nieces, Brittany Durnford, Kaila Bond, Leah Bond; great nephews, Tristan Joudrey, Rylan Nauss; great great nephew, Harvey Durnford. In keeping with Perry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
