Morse, Philip Osgood – Age 65, of Beaver Bank, Halifax Co., formerly of Greenwood Square, Kings Co., passed away peacefully, Monday, May 8, 2023, in the VG Site, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Donald and Ferna (Collins) Morse.

He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and "great" great grandfather. His grandchildren will miss affectionately being called, "Dear" and his infamous Christmas treat bags. He enjoyed playing a good game of cards with friends and family and affectionately teasing those he loved most. For many years Philip ran the Needs store alongside his wife, Pat, and in later years the Fast Fuel in Greenwood.

Philip is survived by daughter, Alicia (Jody) Diggins, Beaver Bank; son, Jason (Kyla) Morse, Cold Lake, Alberta; grandchildren, Josh (Shianne), Hayley (Tyler), Eva and Taryn; great granddaughter, Jordyn; brothers, John (Janet), Aylesford, Gary (Kathy), Wolfville; brothers-in-law, Brian (Fran) MacDonald, Jack (Kate) MacDonald; sister-in-law, Devina (Fern) Hetu; mother-in-law, Millie MacDonald, all of Greenwood; numerous nieces and nephews; best friends & chosen family, Brian and Ruby Smith. Besides his parents, Philip was predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia (MacDonald) Morse and father-in-law, Victor MacDonald.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Philip's life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free: 1-855-825-3448.
