BOUTET (Ward), Phyllis Elaine ~ Age 86, of Middleton, Annapolis Co., passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Born on September 6, 1938, in Waterville, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Roland C. and Vivian A. (Daye) Ward.

Phyllis loved to travel, living in various locations during her husband's military postings and enjoyed 33 consecutive winters with Paul at their second home in Florida. She enjoyed watching hockey, doing crafts and listening to music. Phyllis was an avid gardener and loved time spent fishing and boating.

Surviving are sisters, Marilyn (the late Charles) Grant, Greenwood; Beverley (the late Raymond) Burns, Middleton; Sharon (Dwight) Snow, London, Ontario; Brenda (Richard) Warren, Edmonton, Alberta; Wanda Hill, Dartmouth; brothers, Gerald Ward, Middleton; Bruce (Marline) Ward, Kingston; brother-in-law, Donald Blackley, Edmonton, Alberta; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Paul Emile Boutet; daughter, Cheryl Anne Hartling; son, Paul Douglas Boutet;  sister, Audrey Blackley; brothers, Roland and Gordon Ward; a sister in infancy.

There will be no visitation or service. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Hope for Wildlife or charity of choice.
