JENNINGS, Phyllis Marion (Fenton) was born to Hadley and Hazel Fenton in West Side Country Harbor on December 18, 1925. At the age of 98 she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Maplestone Enhanced Care in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Preceded by her husband, Malcolm Jennings along with brothers, Lloyd, Cecil and Kenneth (May) Fenton, sisters Audrey (Wilfred) Langley, Daisy Sutherland, Doreen (Bill) Webber.
Survived by sisters-in-law Janet (Cecil) Fenton and Joan (Arthur) Shupe. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Phyllis and Malcolm were happily married for 59 years and were heavily involved in the Fellowship Baptist Churches and lived in Halifax, Ottawa, and Melvern Square in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia.
She will always remain in our hearts as she was dearly loved by family and friends.
She was well cared for and loved by the staff at the Maplestone Enhanced Care Facility.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm a graveside service will take place at the Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Pastor Morris Mills will be officiating. By request, family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Gideons or charity of choice.
