Loomer, Phyllis Mae – of Berwick, NS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born at Aylesford NS in 1947 to parents Everette and Bernice Loomer. Phil, as she liked to be called, had a very successful nursing career starting out as an LPN and while living in Regina Saskatchewan and raising a young family she returned to school and became a Registered Nurse.

After returning to Nova Scotia, she worked at the WKM Hospital until its closure in 1995. Phil lived in Fredericton NB for a few years where she worked as an ICU nurse at Dr. Everette Chalmers Hospital before returning to Nova Scotia to continue her career at Grand View Manor, KRRC, and she retired from Shannex in 2017.

Phil is survived by her partner of 12 Years Michael Gregorash, her children Mark (Colleen), Michael (Robin), Jason (Emma), Amanda, (Mike). Grandchildren Katrina, Jessica, Justin, Matthew, Chelsea, Brittany, Leanna, Connor, Jaxson, Ava, Sawyer Rylee, Emma, Charlie, and Macy and 9 Great Grandchildren, siblings Esther Doherty, Roger Milbury (Doreen), Steve Loomer, (Janet) Mary Perkins (Frank), Peter Loomer (Tammy) along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Phil was predeceased by siblings Jerry Loomer, Wayne Milbury, Eileen Doherty and Barbara MacDougall.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home; cremation has taken place. Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.

A Service will be held at Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St, Berwick. Wednesday May 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Reception immediately following at the church.
