HAYWARD, Raymond Charles 76 of Greenwood passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kidderminster, England on September 15, 1934, he was a son of the late William and Susanne (Rea) Hayward. He was in the Service in England. He came to Canada 45 years ago. Before retirement, Raymond worked in the mines in Alberta and Continental Can in Toronto and then moved to Nova Scotia 19 years ago. He is survived by daughters Terrie (Damone) Williams; Margaret (Joe) Soares and Rhonda Hayward all of Mississauga, ON; three granddaughters and five grandsons. Raymond is also survived by two sisters and three brothers in England as well as best friend Geraldine Hall, Greenwood. Raymond will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. At Raymonds request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:30PM, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev.
