Obituary

WEST, Raymond Walter-77 of Meadowvale passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, he was a son of the late Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Barker) West. Raymond retired after 25 years of service in the R.C.A.F. as an air frame technician having worked on the Golden Hawks and later the Argus and Aurora aircrafts. He was a contractor for Canada Post delivering the mail in the RR 1 Wilmot area for a number of years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98 Kingston. Raymond is survived by his wife, the former Anne Faulkner, Meadowvale; daughter, Kelly West, Kingston; sons, Raymond T. West, Penticton, BC and John P. West (Diane Breeze), Port Coquitlam, BC; brothers, Jack West and Ted West, both of Tisdale, SK and grandchild Kacie West. Cremation has taken place. A Royal Canadian Legion Tribute will be held 2:00PM, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Branch #98, Kingston. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston, NS.
