WILES, Raymond Reid ~ Age 84, of Coldbrook, Kings Co., N.S., passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born and raised in Lake George, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Reid P. and Mary G.L. (Wilkie) Wiles. Raymond was a well-known Electrolux sales and repairman in the Annapolis Valley for many years. He faithfully attended services at Waterville Baptist Church when he was able. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Evangeline Mary "Vangie" Veinotte; son, Bradley Donovan Wiles (Michelle Byrne); grandchildren, Joseph Donovan and Parker Raymond Wiles, all of Coldbrook; sister, Kathy (the late Bernie) MacDonald, of Ontario; several nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Ralph, Arnold, Allan and Hanson Wiles. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29 , in Waterville Baptist Church, 1243 Mill St., Waterville. Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating, with interment in Morristown Cemetery. Donations in Raymond's memory may be made to Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or to Waterville Baptist Church.
