Obituary

TAYLOR, Reginald Morton - 67, of Port George, NS passed away peacefully at home with his wife Dianna and son Rocky at his side. Born in Clarence West, he was a son of the late Leverett and Adwina (Coldwell) Taylor. Reg worked at DenHaan Nursery for 25 years and later worked cutting wood with Harry Morse for 25 years. He enjoyed playing darts with his brothers and sisters and especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, the former Dianna Robar; son, Rocky Taylor, Port George; daughter, Melissa Taylor and her husband Craig Bent; grandsons, Austin and Ethan, all of Middleton; brother, Lonzo "Lonnie" (Pearl) Taylor, Torbrook; sisters, Irene Taylor, Lawrencetown; Velvet (George) Boudreau, Granville Ferry; Esther (Lawrence) Chute, Mount Hanley and sister-in-law, Inez Taylor, Wilmot. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Phyllis Martin and Faye Ann Chute and brother, Robie Taylor. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7-9PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 where the memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, September 28, 2012 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Port George. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Port George Recreation Centre.
