MONTGOMERY (Couturier, nee Bemister), Rhoda Russell – age 90, Greenwood, Kings Co., formerly of St. Johns, Nfld., passed away peacefully on February 25, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 12, 1927, in St. Johns, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late George Alexander and Harriet (Russell) Bemister. Surviving are her loving husband, H. Clark Montgomery, Greenwood; sister, Olga Barnes, Catalina, Nfld.; daughters, Gloria (Cedric) Richard, Dartmouth; Jo Ann (Richard), Berthiaume, Kingston; Pat (Ben) House, Aylesford; grandchildren, Tari, Emily, Andrea, Laura, John, Kelty; five great-grandchildren; many amazing nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Joe Couturier; four brothers; three sisters. A private time in celebration of Rhoda's life for family and close friends will take place in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448.
